Our story begins with Panagiotis Agouridis, a visionary from Chios, who founded the distillery ``Chios`` in Patras. From the very start, the distillery focused on crafting and bottling the iconic Ouzo and Tentoura, setting the foundation for what would become a legacy of exceptional spirits and dedication to traditional Greek flavors.

In 1930, the Agouridis distillery achieved its first major recognition on the world stage. At the prestigious International Exhibition De L'Enfant in Brussels, Belgium, the company was awarded first place for the exceptional quality of its Ouzo and Tentoura. This historic achievement marked the beginning of a legacy defined by craftsmanship and international acclaim.

ΤΟ ΧΡΥΣΟ ΜΕΤΑΛΛΙΟ
Seven years later, on September 26th, the Agouridis distillery earned another distinguished accolade—a gold medal with honors at the International Exhibition in Thessaloniki. This prestigious award celebrated the distillery's expertise in crafting Ouzo and liqueurs, recognizing both the refined taste and exceptional quality that have become the hallmark of our products.

As the third generation steps in, the distillery evolves under the new name 'Andreas Agouridis Sons Distillers.' With fresh leadership, the company broadens its offerings, introducing a wider array of alcoholic beverages and an extensive selection of liqueurs. This period of growth honors the family’s legacy while embracing new opportunities in the world of fine spirits.
1980

The distillery marks a significant milestone by relocating its headquarters to a modern, privately-owned 600 m² facility in the heart of Patras. With this expansion, the company embarks on producing Vodka, Gin, Schnapps, and custom-tailored products. A state-of-the-art production line with a capacity of 3,000 bottles per hour is installed, driving efficiency and setting the stage for greater innovation in spirit crafting.
1991

Expands its horizons by acquiring a spacious industrial property just outside Patras, encompassing 10,000 m² of land and 1,600 m² of state-of-the-art facilities. This pivotal move marks the relocation of our headquarters in 2001, setting the stage for future growth and innovation.

A new chapter unfolds as a 265 m² facility is constructed, housing an advanced isobaric production line. This cutting-edge technology allows for the efficient bottling of sparkling wines and carbonated beverages, enhancing our production capabilities and commitment to quality innovation.
